Dawn Isabel

Dawn is the Vice President of Research at NowSecure and has an extensive background in penetration testing. She enjoys hacking on iOS and watchOS, and has constructed jailbreaks for Apple Watch. Dawn has also applied her interest in iOS application security to bug bounties, and has won awards for best bug from both HackerOne and BugCrowd. Her prior roles include building and running a penetration testing service at the University of Michigan, leading a mobile tools development team at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, and several years in consulting at IOActive. Dawn strives to make deep technical topics accessible to diverse audiences, and has delivered talks and workshops at the Girls Hack Village at DEF CON, WiCyS, DefendCon, VirSecCon, and SUMIT.
