Syrone Hanks is a Technical Support Analyst for NowSecure, and joined the company in 2018.
How did you find NowSecure?
I was on a hunt to get involved in digital forensics and came across NowSecure. A lot of the products I had never seen before and I thought, “Wow! This is really interesting.” NowSecure Platform and Workstation can definitely be game-changers in-app security world.
What do you like most about your support role?
It keeps me on a consistent learning curve. There’s always so much changing, and I’m not working in a field where it’s the same thing every day. There’s always going to be some new vulnerability. There’s always going to be something I have to learn and stay on top of my toes.
And I’m always wanting to learn. I always want to see what the next thing is. And that’s always a ton of fun. Because there were certain things I was like, “Wow, I didn’t know that. I’d never heard of that before.”
You don’t know what you don’t know. If we have a company or security analyst that comes to us, I look at that as a huge opportunity for us to learn together. That’s always amazing. That’s a small example of how our products don’t assume, but we also make them a learning opportunity for any customer that works with us.
What makes the NowSecure team so strong?
It’s the time and effort that goes into making sure we’re all on the same page and moving forward together. Sometimes working at a huge enterprise, you become a number. Being able to work with a well-knit team is amazing. It’s what makes NowSecure NowSecure.
We do everything as a team and we always want to make sure that everyone is on board with our mission, and everyone is understanding why we do what we do. Everyone has great intentions in making sure that you get the development that you need in order to continue to make NowSecure a successful company.
