Remote Workforce Mobile App Security Recommendations
As many organizations and government agencies transition to a work-from-home reality, there is an immediate need for mobile apps and other resources to support remote employees. Sadly, as we have seen before, the spike in mobile app traffic grabs the attention of the attackers as well. Built on a decade of experience in mobile forensics and mobile pen testing, the automated NowSecure Platform tests actual mobile app binaries on real iOS and Android devices using an attacker POV to uncover security vulnerabilities, privacy risks and compliance gaps. This benchmark included a full battery of SAST+DAST+IAST analysis in a non-authenticated mode. NowSecure conducted the tests on the mobile app versions that were available in the Apple AppStore™ and Google Play™ on March 18, 2020.
