In accordance with our Pandemic Plan, NowSecure is taking proactive steps to help ensure the health and safety of our personnel, customers and partners while maintaining continuity of our business operations.
We are very focused on serving and supporting our customers through these challenging times. As companies move to remote work, mobile app security and privacy is now more important than ever. The attackers will not stop due to COVID-19 and sadly will attempt to exploit the situation.
For our customers, we are offering free baseline analysis reports of remote work mobile apps (VPN, video conference, collaboration, etc) to help ensure that your workforce remains secure. We understand that some of our customers will be under extreme financial and resource pressure due to COVID-19 and market disruptions. We are here to help and will work with customers in good faith to ensure that their mobile apps that they build and use remain secure and compliant. NowSecure is following the mandates and best practices communicated by health authorities in our three hub office states of Illinois, Virginia and Washington. We have implemented remote work protocols, with only essential in-person office work permitted. All non-critical business travel is suspended, and our personnel have been directed to ensure they follow all policies established by customers and partners restricting in-person meetings. Finally, we have rescheduled our NowSecure Connect 2020 conference, originally scheduled for May, to later this year in September.
We will continue to monitor the pandemic situation over the next weeks and months and will adjust our programs accordingly while maintaining open communication with our customers.
From our beginnings NowSecure has embraced flexible and remote work, with security architecture not dependent on office network locations. Our NowSecure Platform is primarily supported remotely and we do not anticipate disruption to our services delivery to our customers at this time. Our NowSecure Workstation is deployed on premises at our customers and will continue to receive remote software updates. Our NowSecure pen testing services and online training can be performed remotely as well.
Security and privacy risks will not rest during this pandemic, and we stand ready to continue supporting and enhancing our industry-leading automated mobile app security testing software and expert services as normally as possible for our customers. At the same time we support public health efforts to limit the spread of the coronavirus, and wish all communities the best as they fight this dangerous outbreak.
